Thank you all for your very, very kind words of my father. It warms my heart to hear your thoughts and memories. Those were good times...the best of times. Growing up, my father was an only child. After marriage, you (and I) were his family. The family that he never had. A loving one. He always cherished his time with us and he never took us any of us for granted. He really appreciated what he had. He was a wonderful father, a terrific role model, and a best friend. I'll miss him deeply and always.

Brian, The loss of Uncle Don brings back memories of the Bartlett family. Aunt Gloria and Uncle Don so young in my memories. Those were the easy days, a place and home of love. In the midst of four little ones, healthy and full of life and enjoyment for their parents. Uncle Don always greeted me with a smile and sometimes a kiss on the top of my head. I was so fortunate to have both of your parents in my life, always treated as a daughter, never as a niece. The last time we spoke, he ended our conversation with a 'Goodnight, sweetheart.' So, today, I say goodbye, Uncle Don, thank you for your love all these years. And please give Aunt Gloria a kiss for me, and tell Roger and Mark they are still in my heart and forever in my love memories

Oh, the passing of an era. So sorry to hear of Uncle Don's passing but am glad he'll soon be reunited with Aunt Gloria. I remember his guitar playing, his muscles, his showing us how strong he was by allowing us to slug him in the stomach (now known as a 6-pack), and his never-ending patience with kid jokes and stories. Donnie and Brian, my heart-felt condolences. Patty

Donnie and Brian, We are very sorry for your loss. I will always remember your dad as one of the few adults who took the time to treat we kids with respect. He listened to our 'nonsense' as if it were as important to him as it was to us. He was a loving and dear man. Although we can't make the service, I will carry him in my thoughts and prayers. God bless your beautiful family. Love you. Ricki
