Dear Mrs Bouchey: I was very distressed to learn of Gordie's passing. Although we were not social friends, he did so much work on the floors in our large, old home that I feel we became well acquainted. He was truly a master craftsman, and every step I am reminded of that, the most recent being the kitchen, which you saw a year ago. He certainly adored you and was fond of telling about cars he got for you. And he enjoyed being closer to his grandchildren after your move to Puyuallup. I'll miss this good man and my prayers are with you and your family for healing and a renewed joy in each other--as Gordie would have wanted. Sincerely, Walter Lowrie

Karen & Family I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, the love that you showed when you talked about him makes me feel like I knew him but only met his smiling face once. My heart breaks when I think about your loss and I cry for those boys for they have lost someone that meant the world to them. To understand why you lost two parents in 3 months only God knows why. Just remember they are both now angels watching over you and are beside you every moment. I am here if you need to talk, I send my love and strength to you, your family and Mom.

Dear Kathleen: We had the pleasure and good fortune to have Gordie do hardwood floors in two of our homes. He was gracious, a great craftsman, and he had a delightful sense of humor. I remember when we first met him I asked if he could put a pattern in our floor and he replied 'you don't have enough money.' I'm sure he was right. May the memories of a wonderful person help see you through this trying time. Eugene and Marjorie Green Lakewood

Dear Kathleen: As you already know it was our pleasure to meet Gordy and we knew when we met him, that we had just met someone great. This is so hard for you and all of his loved ones. Just know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. It is rare to meet someone like Gordy. We really are so sad too. Love, Nancy and Lee

We would like to extend our sympathies to Gordie's children and especially his wife, Kathleen. We knew Gordie was such a great person because of the great love our cousin Kathleen had for him. He always had a smile on his face and was a wonderful, fun person to be around. He will be very very missed.
