Obituary of Marguerite Draper Ecker

It is with great sadness the family and friends of Marguerite (Draper) Ecker chronicle her passing on Sunday February 5, 2006. She was 89 years old. Marguerite was born January 2, 1917 in Denver, CO to Marshall Daniel and Marguerite (Barbour) Draper. Her early years were spent in southern China where her father was Chief Engineer for the Yunnan Tin Company in Yunnan Province. In 1929 the family returned to the U.S. and settled in Beverly Hills, CA. Marguerite graduated from Beverly Hills High School and attended UCLA where she pursued her interests in art and art history. Marguerite was employed in the medical and practicing art professions as a secretary/receptionist. She is survived by a brother, Marshall Daniel Draper and his wife, Marion, of Woodland Hills, Calif., a nephew, Daniel Robert Quail of Port Ludlow, WA, two nieces, Elizabeth Quail Raber, of San Jose, CA, and Marsha Draper of Woodland Hills, CA, three grand nieces, 1 grand nephew, 2 great grand nieces, and 1 great grand nephew.
