Geo attended several post secondary schools and obtained a degree in photography from the Art Institute of Seattle. Georgia led a full and colorful life, and her careers were many. She was an accomplished artist whose works were shown in New York. She was a professional writer for The National Mortgage News for the past twenty years, and various other publications and newspapers over the years, as well as a photo journalist. Aside from her artisitic abilities she also managed the Star Apartments in Seattle for 30 years and was instrumental in the complete renovation of the building, always ensuring her tenants were treated fair l y and with respect. She was often referred to as the Mayor of Spruce Park, the area of 1st Hill where she lived with her husband. Georgia was also well known for the beautiful lamp shades she created by hand embroidering scenes based upon nursery rhymes. But of all her accomplishments, Georgia would consider her daughter, Tracy,to be the best. It brought her great joy to see the wonderful life Tracy created for her family. Georgia's relationships with people were very special to her and if you were a friend, you were a friend for life, as demonstrated by the numerous friends who proudly tell you their relationships spanned 30 or 50 plus years. Georgia was very proud of her sobriety and encouraged others to deal with their demons and seek sobriety. She was a great suppote r and pillar of strength for many. Georgia was large in life and we're sure she's made a grand entrance into the after life.
