We as neighbore will miss Doris mowing the grass and hitting the rocks. She was never aware of it as she wore ear protectors when mowing, but it sure made us wince and we would say Mrs. Erickson is at it again. Our sympathy and love to Bill and the family.

I had the opportunity to work alongside Doris at Fort Lewis for many years. She was a great lady, a friend to all who knew and worked with her, and she loved life, nature, and all of God's surroundings. The world was a better place because of her and we will all miss her very much.

Yes, Doris will always be with us and soaring with the birds. She sure was a lot of fun!-I met her via Georgia & Bob Ramsey years ago. Doris would dog a bird sound until she found the bird-enjoyed this last Christmas count with her. My sympathy to the family-Sally V. Hill

Doris was one of the first people I met in 1982 when I came to Fort Lewis. She cared very much about her work with soldiers and she was a wonderful colleague and friend. I will remember Doris for her cheerfulness and her beautiful smile.....always her beautful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Doris,Bill, and Bruce's kindness and care of Tim when he was 5 years old will always be remembered as one of the most generous acts we have received. Lee and I had planned to pay a baby sitting fee to Doris for caring for Tim,but she refused to accept any money and laughed away our protests. Thanks to all involved--Our love and sympathy -Lee and Mildred
