Dad, I am very sorry that I was not able to say goodbye and that I loved you. I wish that someone could of gotten hold of me so I could of made peace with you. Although we had not seen eachother does not mean that I ever stopped loving and missing you. I have some great memories of us that I will carry with me in my heart and I know that we will see each other again some day. We all love you! Your daughter Dawn and your Grandchildren Damon, Lindsey, Courtney, and your soon to be son in law Casey. Love you Dad!

To my Uncle Sonny, Blue sky daydreams a time to wander through favorite memories and silver linings. Feeling so privileged to have had you in my life. I will never forget your sense of humor, kindness and the sound of music. I cherish your invitations to be included with you and your young family, my cousins; Cheri, Charlie, Pam and Dawn. The dignity and respect you had always shown to me. The Lord will watch over you now in the loving cradle of His arms. May you have peace now and the love of your family and friends surround you in Heaven above. May the wind be beneath your wings we love you dearly Sonny. Cheers! Patricia Hope Sharp-Donnelly

Cheri, Even though I never met your father, I do know how much you loved him, and the obituary you wrote for your dad is beautiful and and shows what kind of man he was and the wonderful relationship you have. I know full well how it feels to loose a father and friend and we will miss them sooooo much. We are so very fortunate to have so many wonderful memories and no one can ever take those away. Your father was and is a blessing and will be with you forever. Lisa

It is hard to find the right words to express the sadness I feel at the passing of my Dad but I know that he is no longer in pain and that he is in a better place. He left this world with alot of regrets but I want him to know that he was loved and will be missed every day. He was a loving man even though it was not always easy for him to express that love and I know that he loved all of his children dearly. As a child I loved to hear him sing and would curl up in his lap and fall asleep. I will remember those times always Dad and will hear you singing in my heart forever.

My Dear Dad, I don't really have the words to tell you how much I will miss you.I have so many wonderful memories that I will carry in my heart always.I will think of you and remember you everyday. I know you are at peace now,no more pain or sadness, you were so brave in your fight for life.Your ashes are where you wanted to be,on the beautiful mountains that you loved so much.It was such a perfect day,the sun was beaming and there was lots of snow on the ground, the wind carried you away to such a wonderful peaceful place.I love you and will miss your face smiling back to me.Love,Cheri

I will always have a special place in my heart for Ivan. He was a very loving friend and companion. I will cherish our times together and will miss going to garage sales and bazaars with him. I will also miss hearing him laughing and singing and telling silly jokes. I know that he is in a better place now where he will feel no pain and no regrets and where we will meet again one day.

I was so happy to have the two weeks to spend with Sonny. We had a wonderful time, taking him to our friend's mountain cabin. A trip to AZ to visit Terri, Sonny's niece, and to see his nephew, Michael at Oak Hills. We took him to a lake to do some fishing and he said 'You call this a lake? It's a 'mud hole'!' To top it off, we didn't even get a bite but it was fun. I will truly miss this wonderful brother. We had such good times singing together and his playing the guitar. We fought a lot when we were kids but grew very close as adults. I loved him so much and hope to sing with him again in Heaven.
