Obituary of Wilbur Graves

Our dear brother Wilbur passed away the morning after his 80th birthday. He dearly loved flowers and plants. He was a self taught master gardener working in many nurseries in the area, and lent his talents to Lakewold Gardens, Native Garden Point Defiance Park, and green houses at Western State Hospital. He was a member of the Primrose Society, and Iris Society. Wilbur enjoyed making Christmas Ornaments, greeting cards for friends and family. His favorite activities included: playing the piano, organ, and most importantly spending time with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by his five sisters; June (Marv) Bristow, Joyce Myers, Janice Wymore, Judi (W.D.) Hamilton, Jeanie (Bruce) Johnson and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service to be held at 3PM Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Manitou Park United Presbyterian Church, 6613 S. Cheyenne St., Tacoma, 98409. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franciscan Hospice 2901 Bridgeport Way W., University Place, WA 98466. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center. 253-566-1008
