Obituary of Timothy James Simolke

Tim, a strong man of God, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and son. He started his life in Amery, Wisconsin growing up on a farm with his brother David and sister Kathy. Because of illness, his father sold the farm in 1957 and moved the family to southern California where Tim spent most of his free time at the beach with his dear friend Lorenzo. After graduating from Redondo Beach High School he continued his education at Northrup University becoming an aircraft mechanic. Always much older than his years at 20 Tim married Charlotte and her 3 children. Zane, Charlotte Ann and Jason, adapting the 3 children 3 years later. Always a loving father they moved their family to the Pacific Northwest in 1977 to a new home and a new life. Tim never wanted to work for Boeing and so after getting settled in their new home he went to work for Ralph Vernon, who built homes and later led Tim to the Lord. Not long after Tim and Charlotte became foster parents and eventually enlarged their family when they adopted Amanda and Michael. Now they had a big family 3 sons and 2 daughters, they moved to their farm in 1984 where Tim built their beautiful home where they raised their 5 children and many of their children’s friends. After his conversion, Tim was always active in church, teaching Sunday School, Royal Rangers, sitting on church boards, and singing in the choir. He loved life, his family, and God. He will be missed very much. Tim would want us to go on with our lives and to remember always that God loves us and that we all need to stay close to God and each other. Stay in the word, realize our strength comes from the Lord. 8/30/1953-11/26/2005 Son of God, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son.
