I never got a chance to leave a message back in the day because somehow I managed to miss seeing this back then. So even though I'm so many years late, it is important that I tell you now how much you've been missed over the years. I still think about some of the crazy stuff we used to do.. so much fun. And you were always up for anything. But your hidden heart of gold will never be forgotten. You always were a great friend. When the fuse panel went bananas at my place, and of course the tour of fuses it had were damn near impossible to find, it took you 3 days but you found what I needed after searching your garage every spare minute till you found them. Then you showed up at my place to help me change them out because you pretty much knew I'd kill myself if I tried it alone. Thanks for caring... thanks for being an awesome friend... and thanks for always telling me exactly the way things were, no sugar coating, straight up great advice whether I wanted to hear it or not. Love and miss you Danny!

I will greatly miss Dan. Although, I never met Dan in person. I remember when I would be mad or upset all I would have to do was get online and talk to him and then I forgot what I was mad about because he would have me laughing in a matter of seconds. I wish I could have met Dan in person. I will forever miss him. My sympothies go out to Dan's family and friends.

To my new found family: Carrie and Molly, I am truly sorry for your loss, even as I type this there are tears in my eyes and a sadness that brews deep within my soul. Dan and I had a special 'bond' that even time will never break: He saved my life, He reminded me why life is worth living and for this I will always be truly, humble! I consider myself very lucky to have shared 10 WONDERFUL weeks with him (May - July 2006), just talking about whatever would come to mind, me picking on him about silly stuff, him teasing about EVERYTHING and even the quiet moments spent in the nowledge that the other one was there. He was an amazing man with a wisdom and strength that I can only dream of having. To have known him 'truly' was a special privledge he left to only a few but he will be surly missed by all who knew of him. All my love and hugs to friends and family worldwide! I love you my SPECIAL friend! Rest easy now, C

I am signing Mr.Dan's book out of respect for him, his mother and his sister. I've known of Dan and his family since I was in Jr. High school. As most people, they really only knew of him. I can say this, is that he and his sister did not have anything come to them easy growing up. Dan and I really never talked due to both of our strong belief's as to what Love should look like? I do know that prior to his passing, that he finally found out what Love truely meant and after all these years, who truely loved him. I pray that his son cliff does not let his father's life and death be for not. It is not secret, that Dan was a self made man dispite the odd's, nothing was given to him and he knew that working for want you wanted in life was the key to being okay with oneself. This I hope carry's on with his son. To his Mother, sister and son, I pray that you all find peace in this time of loss. L.

To Molly,Carrie,Dan And Clifford-I am so glad to have seen Dan not long before his passing. He reminded me so of Jerry. Some were fooled by his ruff exterior but all that new him well knew he had a heart of gold. I do know he loved his children very much and only wanted the best for them,he thought by being hard he would keep them from making the same mistakes in life that he made. The choices in life we make are a learning lesson.I hope that you are all trying to heal,Which I know in time it does get easier. It is not easy losing a father, brother, son and friend. My thoughts are with you all and i know someday i will see him again. Please take care-Dan was a great guy and I know he will be missed.Kim

To my Dearest Carrie, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I need you to know how very proud I am of you, as well as in awe, for your loving and forgiving nature! As most were taken aback upon hearing of Dan's illness, your strength shone through. Throughout his life, it may have been difficult for Dan to show you how much he really loved you, but I truly believe while you were caring for him, his heart welled with joy! I would like to express my appreciation to you, for showing me that love for family, will NEVER die. I love you very much, Carrie. Not only are you my longest and dearest friend, in my heart...you are family! Dear Molly, I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I know you loved him very much! May God Bless You, and Keep You in The Hollow of His Hand.

concolences to your family. Wow, I can't believe you're gone, but only in body, not in my heart. So many great memories to thank you for. I remember the day you and Chris got married, how scared, happpy, and handsome you looked. You always managed to put a smile on everyones faces with all of your jokes. Denny's, Lincoln Lanes, your moms place, they were all good times, and you made them that way. I guess I'm one of the fortunate ones because I saw you about 1 year ago, so proud of your business, and the fact that little Dan was working with you at that time. You did good with those boys!!!!!! Danny you will always be in my heart and prayers, and hopefully the old gang can all get together again and reminise. I've missed you through the years and never took the time to tell you, for this I am truely sorry. God bless you, and someday we will meet again. Love, your friend for what seems forever now, Nita

A tragic death has taken a piece of my heart, My father whom I've loved from the start. Now our relationship wasn't always hugs and smiles, It was a test of our strength, our minds, on trial. For the most part it was full of tumoil and pain, But you showed me ther can be sunshine, even in the rain. Hard headed I was, but you still taught me right from wrong, and all you know, We were getting closer and I wish you were still here, but God said it was time to go. So I'll shed a tear, say a prayer and hope you're watching down on me, And maybe we'll meet again someday,.....We'll see. By Clifford Collier Written September7,2006

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you right now. Dan, I was shocked to hear the news of your passing, as I had no idea you were ill. I am sure you know that if I had, I would have been there to help in anyway I could. Even though we have not seen each other much the last couple of years, you have been missed and will continue to be missed. Danny, you were always there for me when I needed a friend, and I thank you. All the memories, wow! Danny was the one that taught me how to drive a stick, just wish he had not decided to do it in his Dad's truck, while going over the mountains, on our way to Texas! Then he went to sleep! When I had surgury it was Danny that stopped by my parents house every night and brought me movies to watch while recovering. Let this be a lesson to all of us to stay in touch with those we care about.

Dad,I am so glad you are at peace. You NEED to know you are survived by your sons that love you sooo much. I got a chance to visit with Cliffy just before you left us.He looks so much like you, right down to his hands. He loves you.As for your namesake, words canot describe the way he feels for you. very simply 'GREAT LOVE'. You have given 'ME' a wonderful man, through your upbringing of him. Like you, not for all to see but I see the 'Greatness' in him as you have.He has that 'rough exterior' but a 'soft interior' just like you, only for the few and choosen ones to see.We both know that too comes from you.Anyone who truly knows you, knows this to be fact.In closing I want all to know,on Sept.2nd Daniel Jr. and I laid to rest ,our sons, Micah and Malachi Collier to rest,I am so glad your suffering ended and you went home to take care of them.'We are sure you are building them 'cribs' and 'junglegyms' as God needs a good carpenter for these tasks.Enjoy those grandbabies for all of eternity.Tell my boys, that their daddy and mommy loves them each day,hug them, kiss them and I will do the same to Daniel and Cliff for the rest of 'MY' days. I Love You, Very Proudly, DeeAmbra Lee Collier

My condolences to the family, I have not seen Danny in many years and the news of his passing was a shock. I will always remember Danny at Lincoln Lanes, hanging out having as much fun as legally possible (and maybe a little farther then that). Going out ALL night with Danny, Tony & Ron and the whole gang after we closed up the bowling alley and headed out for some fun at Bowlero, or at Dennys, Maybe heading to the Tavern across from the lanes after we were old enough and shooting pool, playing pull tabs (I think Danny and Tony are to blame for my love of gambling). I do remember one time sneaking back into the lanes after John was closing and scaring the living heck out of him and laughing as hard as I ever have in my life. I will always remember those nights of my youth with Danny and my friends as some of the best days of my life. They seem to grow better with each passing year. I will always remember Danny for the larger then life person he was, maybe not the biggest person in the world but yes he had big heart if you knew how to look for it. Thanks Danny for the friendship we have and the memories, I will never forget!! Chris
