Lois Taylor

Obituary of Lois Ann Taylor

In Loving Memory Lois Ann (nee’ James) Taylor of Tacoma, Washington, passed to the heavens above on December 11th, 2005 at 7:30 PM; she was born to Jeffery James and Floy (nee’ Shellnutt) James on July 26th, 1942 in Benton, Ark. Lois was a wonderful Mother, and Grandmother, who selflessly took care of her family, who always showed love and compassion. I Did Not Die Do not stand at my grave and forever weep. I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and forever cry. I am not there. I did not die. Melinda Sue Pacho Wishing You Near by Nick Alcantara I have come To realize That time is so dear When you are no Longer here I cling to memories, Sweet bitter memories That brings you near If only I can touch you again Without bringing back the pain Feeling your presence That you are not really Very far away That would bring back The joy and magic Of being again Together I know you are Just a whisper away. By Nick Alcantara. Mommy As I sat watching by your bed, A million thought ran through my head. Of just how much were you aware? Did you know that I was there? Could you feel the love I sent, In whispered word, Or prayer bent? Upon my cross as I asked God, To spare your life for my selfish cause? So that I could tell you just once more, "I love you Mommy! “as I had before. And we could chat like days of old, Over coffee cups all rimmed with gold. And laugh and joke, or just to share some small hurt and perhaps a tear. To talk of the past, or things yet to do. To sniffle, and sneeze, and say "Bless You!” All these dreams now hang in shreds, As I sit here with bowed down head. And ponder on these sad thoughts. Just to wonder, "Was it all for naught?” by Lisa Fisher She is survived by her husband; Mike Taylor, Daughters: Phyllis Taylor of Tacoma, WA, Lisa Taylor of Pasadena, CA, and Melinda Taylor-Kelly of Tacoma, WA.
