My message is a little late, but I wanted to send one anyway. We've shared our sorrow recently, but I just want to let you know that Herb was very dear to our family. We will miss him. He was a good Dad/Grandpa/Friend to all of us. We will miss the times that he stood in the driveway to wave and watch us drive off and all the advice and stories. After looking through family photos I realize that we have so many memories to be thankful for. I saw the many family vacations that Herb and Dorothy took Ken and Glenn on. I know how deeply Ken appreciated those summers. I am thankful to know that Herb is now enjoying his visits with the loved ones who had passed on before him. I'm sure he will be here for us in unseen ways. Melanie

My sympathy to Herbs family. Herb was a great father and a super grandfather/great grandfather. I have so many fond memories of conversations with him. It seemed like he had a story from his past that would fit any topic. He was always ready to assist me in any project from hanging Christmas lights to refinishing kitchen cabinets. Earlier this year he and Grandma Dot came to my place for a birthday party for their great granddaughter (Cheyanne). During the party he and I had some time to sit and just talk, that day was priceless for me. Herb was a huge part of my life that I will never forget. He is in better place and Ill bet he, Mike and my dad will be watching over all of us. Dennis

To put all that I could say in print would take the rest of everybodies lives to read - so I will keep this short and say my most heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to all of you who have spent time, energy, efforts, emotions, thoughts and love on our behalf. I love you Dad!!

Glenn, My sympathy to you and your family. For so many years you have all been such a big part of my life. I have countless fond memories to be thankful for. I was thinking recently about our trips to Canada to play soccer. Playing the name game on the way. I know that my mom was very appreciative to have Herb on the trip with us. Likely maintained her sanity. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation for sharing Herb with us. Our lives are better because of him. Robert

Dorothy and Glenn - my heart goes out to you, I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember many fun times at the soccer field and on soccer exchanges with Herb. Herb was always so pleasant to be around - good words, and yes laughs on occasion as well. Herb shared with me more than once how lucky he felt to be with you, Dorothy - you were so important in his life. And Glenn, you gave your father so much to be proud of, and he was. We are so lucky that memories are forever, may they sustain you now and grow even more valuable in the future. Kay
