Obituary of James R. Eicholtz

Born 3/2/1935 in Burlington, KS passed away on 7/3/2008 in Lakewood, WA. He was a member of the US Army serving 18 months in Vietnam and then later retired in Western WA after 23 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and DAV. He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Moira, a native of Scotland, whom he met & married in Sydney, Australia. James is also survived by his son, Jeffery B. Eicholtz of CA and his daughter, Major Zara Walters. Major Walters serves at the Pentagon. He also leaves four grandchildren, Jonathan & Jennifer Eicholtz, Eric and Liliana, and his sisters Mary Jane Fisher and Pamela Western. No local services will be held. Mr. Eicholtz will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008.
