Obituary of Darrell Veliz

Beloved Son, Devoted father, & Loyal Friend Sonny went to be with the Lord on 11/29/2008. He had a heart of gold and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed. To forever cherish his memory, Sonny is survived by his mother, Barbara Nathan-Franks; Father Darrell Veliz Sr.; brothers, Willie Veliz, Markise Veliz; sisters Lakeisha Jackson, Latoya Veliz, Rekerra Veliz, Deidre Bussart; fiance, Hannah Skaggs; sons Elijah & Marquis Veliz; step daughters, Cailin, Emily, & Autumn; grandparents, Ray & Martha J. Ellsworth-Franks, Maryann Geter, Esther Marie Harris and numerous extended family and friends. Preceded in death by Doc. Lance Nathan & Mamie Nathan, Lester Allen Franks, Willie Pierre. Funeral Services will be held 1PM Tuesday 12/9 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1211 S I street, Tacoma, WA. Donations will be accepted at the service.
