What a precious person we had in Aunt Esther. She took so many of us under her wings. Her joy in the Lord was such a witness and encouragement to me. She loved being a wife and mother and lady of the house. She loved family, and being together, I hope that will be just as important to us as we carry on without her.May we also pray for loved ones and their salvation, as she and Mom did so diligently. Love to all, Cheryl and Kachane

What I remember about Ester--her warm smile and loving heart. She was the best neighbor in Coulee Dam. I still have her date pinwheel cookies recipe. Mine never turn out as good as hers. Ester had a joyful laugh that made you laugh with her. Thanks for sharing. The memorial was wonderful.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You are right, though, that it's good to know where she is and Who she's with right now. And that the next time you see her, you'll never part with her again. God's peace be with you especially now. David and Lisa Gifford

I love my Great Aunt Esther and I'm so thankful to God for her in my life. She was a wonderful blessing and I will look forward to spending an eternity with her serving our Great Savior Jesus Christ. May we all rest in God's amazing grace and know that our life here is really about our life with our Heavenly Father who is bringing us all home very soon. I know this is Aunt Esther's prayer for us all, and it is my prayer as well. God bless you all. May you be comforted by our Lord Jesus today during your time of grief. Love from, Janet Suyama (Dale Gifford's daughter)

One of my favorite memories of Eshter and Johnie is when they had us over for dinner one night and then we played RummyCube (misspelled?) afterwards. They were vicious :) Josh and I weren't playing fast enough for them! For some reason when I think of Esther I think of the color yellow and butterflies. I am also humbled that she always remembered my birthday. Esther will be missed greatly!

What an amazing gift to know and love such a wonderful woman. A woman who devoted her life to follow the Lord. Aunt Esther made the Lord present wherever she was. We will miss her smiles and stories, but know that we will someday get to be with her again in God's kingdom. Thank you for all the memories Aunt Esther. We love you.
