Held by Senior Pastor Joe Williams Inurnment service with military honors will be held 2:15 PM Friday, March 2, 2007 at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA. Rich was the type of person… Who would be himself no barriers. A determined individual that pushed forward through all areas in his life, in the military - In his personal life, and in the 7 years of his cancer. In the time of his illness, he was never with a selfish thought. He extended his thoughts and prayers to all that he loved and cared for. He was the type of person who was the most ambitious man I have ever seen. His wisdom, knowledge, and advice was needed by all. Anything he ever put his mind to, he always accomplished. “Procrastination” was one word that was not included in his mental dictionary. You could ask him anything on any topic and know that he was educated in it. He was a true walking encyclopedia. If you had questions… Rich had the answers.. And a lesson on when, why, and how that topic came to be. Richs passions included music, fishing, and gardening. All of which he was incredible at. Those of you who have had the pleasure of hearing his music could truly appreciate his style. His music has been played on a radio station in Wisconsin. Although, only four songs have been completed and put on a final Cd. The memory of it will last forever in our hearts. For those whom have only known him a short while, I have seen the amazing works of his spirit upon them. He thought he would do this alone, but what a beautiful blessing he was blessed with all of you. In knowing this, I know he smiles down upon us and is truly amazed at his own self work. The warmth and love of his last days, those who have touched him and those he has touched. He will be truly missed… and Heaven sure is lucky to have him, because we all were.
