What a wonderful tribute to your mother. This is a wonderful photo and a perfect way to remember her. I still have a cross stitch pillow she made for us on our 25th ann. and a purse she crocheted in red/white of granny squares. I have fond memories of working with her at Grant and Milliken Park. We are sorry there was no service here but want you to know our thoughts are with you. You were blessed to have her for a mother/grandmother. Sue and Lee Maly

I was saddened to see that 'Mrs. Chantry' had passed. She was a wonderful lady. Mrs. Chantry was my grade school librarian, and I adored her. She always knew what kind of books that I liked to read. She would even set some back on her desk for me. It amazes me now to see what care she took with the students, and to encourage and laugh with us. I truley respected Darlene, even when I ran into her as an adult she would stop and talk and remember the good old days. I wanted her family to know that she is remembered fondly, and will be missed. I wish to express my sympathies to all of Darlene's family. What a wonderful person she was. I taught second and third grade at Grant School while she worked there. We attended the same church and she babysat my children. Even my 31 year old daughter noticed her obituary and was saddened by her passsing. Our memories of her will keep us all smiling. May your memories help to comfort you in the days ahead.

Maggie and the rest of the Chantry's: Sam and I are so sorry to hear about your mother. What a sweatheart. I remember when we were in high school ,she was always welcoming when we stop by the house. She always glowed when she talked about any of you. She will be missed. How are you all doing? If you need anything, let us know. God Bless. Take care. Sam and Mary

I lost contact with your mother when she moved. She was a lovely person, always enjoyed visiting with her. She loved each one of you, was very proud of her family. My sympathy to all of you. Laddie and Mary Lou Lodl
