Oh so many memories! The few years that we hung out together in Sacramento and the many trips after that to Tacoma to share Thanksgiving with the Hamby family are some of my very favorite memories. The year our daughter was born we had planned to have Thanksgiving in Tacoma but Carrie was so late in coming that we werent sure we should go. After much deliberation we put 3 week old Carrie into a car seat and drove from Sacramento to Tacoma and she slept the whole way up as well as the whole way home. Another year we had to take the turkey to a local restaurant to have it cooked because the electricity went out at the house due to inclement weather. The balance of the meal was cooked on a camp stove! Yummiest Thanksgiving meal we ever had! Its been 3 or 4 years since Ive seen Mo and while he was having difficulty communicating at that time, he still had that sparkle in his eye and you couldnt wipe the smile off his face for anything. I enjoyed that visit so much and I know Morris did also. A true gentleman, thats Morris Hamby. We will miss you Morris.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family Bobbie. I'd like to say that I will never forget Morris' smile. Though he had lost his speech ability, those smiling eyes always seemed to speak, and light up the room. With blessings always, Larry

I was honored to have had the chance to know Mo and his family. He will always be one that is not far from my mind. Although he was never able to communicate back to me verbally, his many smiles, facial expressions lit up the room. I can already feel that home is missing somebody very special. The residents and I will miss his presence at the dining room table! Much love to the family. We loved Mo very, very much.

Thank you grandpa for all the love and memories you shared with is grandkids. Especially for sharing your love of the military and the Air Force. I am proud to call myself an Airman as well as carrying the Hamby name back into the armed forces. I love you grandpa and you will always be in my heart in uniform and out.
