MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY. I'M A NURSE AT PSHH AND HAD THE PRIVLEDGE OF TAKING CARE OF KATHRYN. I ALWAYS LOOKED FOREWARD TO VISIT HER, SHE WAS A GREAT LADY. I LOVE TO SMELL HER GOOD ITALIAN COOKING SHE WOULD PREPARE FOR HER FAMILLY. SHE IS IN A BETTER PLACE NOW, NO MORE PAIN. MAY HER SOUL REST IN PEACE. I want to thank your family for welcoming me with open arms when I met Jerry. Kathryn always made me feel at home. Her strength through her illnesses was a true testament to her faith. I thank God everyday for blessing me with such a wonderful husband who has such a strong, loyal family unit. It is so hard losing someone you love, but how comforting it is to know that God will give us strength for the needs we face each day. Praying God will comfort you with His peace and encourage you with His presence. - 2 Cor 1:3

To Walt & Family, Jim and I have always felt both gratitude and honor in the friendship that grew from knowing you both. Kathryn was an awesome friend and confidant. I miss her and at the same time feel so very privileged and blessed for having her in my life. She frequently made laugh and smile. More importantly she gave me great courage for she never was one to back down from a challenge. Watch out Heaven! She is a feisty One! Our Love Heidi & Jim

I am so glad I saw you over the weekend. I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her volunteering at Birney and how dedicated she was to the Werlin Program. She helped many children and I know she enjoyed what she did. My thoughts and prayers to out to the family.

I have so many memories of Kathryn, mostly concerning her love of art. She was a dedicated artist with whom I spent many hours sharing my love of colored pencil artwork. She loved it as well and created fun, loving portraits of her family, friends and a few pets. I loved seeing the joy and pride she experienced when many of her pieces were accepted into juried exhibitions. I will miss her...
